1952 Bulletins

Brother Chaffin continued to answer many questions in the bulletin throughout 1952, sometimes taking several editions to provide a detailed answer. The early months of 1952 saw a flu epidemic. The March 5th edition indicated that all children 16 and younger were quarantined at home due to the flu and could not be at services. Measles were then reported in the April 30th edition. Later that year, Warners Chapel conducted an 11-day tent meeting in Pfafftown that resulted in an average of 15 non-members present every night and 3 baptisms. One thing is very clear, 1952 was a focused attempt to get members to attend Bible study on Sunday morning. The cover of nearly every edition encouraged and even chastised members for their lack of attendance.
